ChamberPlus Dental Insurance
Dental health is important, too. The optional Network Blue Dental Benefit for employers with two or more employees gives your employees important preventive and additional benefits they need to ensure good dental health.
Dental insurance is available in the ChamberPlus program if you are purchasing the health and life coverage. Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi offers competitive rates and enhanced benefits to make the ChamberPlus product unique. There are three dental plans available, Comprehensive I, Comprehensive II and Comprehensive Plus.
All levels include paying 100% of the allowable charge for exams, cleaning and x-rays on the recommended schedule. Additional basic benefits are paid at 80% and periodontic benefits are paid at 60% of the allowable charge. The Comprehensive II benefits add benefits for prosthetic work, such as crowns and dentures. Comprehensive Plus benefits, available for employers with 25 or more full-time employees, cover orthodontic benefits at 50% of the allowable charge.
Diagnostic and Preventive benefits have no deductible. There is a $50 deductible per member per calendar year for additional basic, periodontic and prosthetic benefits. The benefit maximum is $1,000 per member per calendar year.
Orthodontic benefits have a $100 lifetime deductible per member and a $1,000 lifetime maximum benefit per member.
